Please do the pronunciation practice!
I do this every class, and focus on vowel sounds.
Please model the pronunciation and have the students repeat after you.
Go ahead and be a big meanie and stop them from talking at the same time as you. If everyone talks while you are speaking no one can hear the correct pronunciation. I have attempted to train them to wait until I finish speaking to start speaking, but they may need reminders.
After that, please do the vocab intro - use the same idea. You read, then they read.

Please do slides 111-161.
Then, go through the "Healthcare Workers" worksheet.
You can also do the crossword and play the matching game!
Please ask them to write three sentences on slide 150.
When you are done, play Kahoot!
If you have time, please do slides 163 and 164 to review needs and wants.

Please have them write four sentences on slide 192.
When they are ready, please do the sorting game, watch a cartoon or two and play the Kahoot!
